This is my GrandFather he passed away on Tuesday morning. He will truly be missed everyone loved grandpa. Grandpa loved to tease everyone! This is a picture of Grandpa with Elisa just after she was born he loved all his Great Grandkids!
DeLoy Bingham
DeLoy Bingham, age 74, of Twin Falls, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at his home after a long illness.
DeLoy was born March 29, 1934, to Charles James and Myrtle Maria Silcock Bingham in Burley. He attended school in Burley and Twin Falls and was a graduate of the Twin Falls High School Class of 1952. DeLoy married Barbara Lee Hill on April 29, 1954, in the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple, and they were blessed with four daughters. DeLoy retired from the Amalgamated Sugar Company in 1996 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and camping with his family. The trips to Redfish Lake were especially memorable. DeLoy served in many church callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and particularly loved working with the youth.
He loved serving others, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed teasing his daughters and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.DeLoy is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Debbie (Scott) Erwin of Rupert, Kandi (Jim) Holbrook of Northbrook, Ill., Lori (Joe) Casperson of Twin Falls and Terri (Don) Rigby of Provo, Utah; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Saunders of Ogden, Utah, and Dorothy Montgomery of Buhl.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Twin Falls LDS 15th Ward Chapel on the corner of Falls Avenue East and Hankins Road, with Bishop Mike Traveller conducting. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road in Twin Falls, and from 10 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service Saturday at the church. Internment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
