So Yesterday My friend and I got this grand Idea that we were going to can Salsa since we had all the stuff from her dads Garden. Lets just say that there will be no more canning in my future. It is alot of work and not worth even attempting with three kids hanging on you the whole time. But I can say that I have canned now and now I know why my mom never did it!~

You're such a good little wife and mommy to try canning!! I haven't attempted it...I just snag whatever Nate's mom or grandma will send my way, but now I know for sure it's not worth the effort!
So that was not one of our better ideas:) My mom called one of her friends that does a lot of canning and she said that you can't can fresh salsa recipes, you have to cook the salsa before putting it in the jars or else use a recipe with vinegar or a lot of lime juice in it. So keep it in your fridge and use it quickly, I wouldn't want you to die of botulism!
You are the woman! I tried canning salsa once and I seriously worked the entire day and came up with like 7 bottles. That was the end of that. Elisa is so cute! I love the pictures of her mischevious adventures!
