Farwell to the Big Yellow Blob!

Brody and I have been living in the Big Yellow house now for a little over 4 months and we have decided that is long enough this week we close on are house! Don't get me wrong I am very grateful for a roof over are heads and place to live but it doesn't have the best of features the water stinks like a sulfer pot there is no air conditioning and to top it off no dishwasher. Now for a older home it is nice but it is akward as you can tell from the outside pictures not mention the drug dealers that live behind us. Thus the reason to baricade are doors at night! We were grateful for a good place to stay but are very happy to settle into something that we can call home!

SPLISH SPLASH

We went for a walk this morning with holly and the boys and Ethan always wants to come to our house to play so I told him that after his nap he could come and go swim! So this afternoon he left a message on my phone asking if they could come swim with Elisa! She loves the boys and would sit and watchand play with them all day if she could. Ethan and kamden are fun and she loves them! It is also nice to sit and visit with holly and have adult conversation!
The all seemto be having Fun! Elisa was stilling Kamdens popsicle I don't think he wanted to share it!

Retreat

This weekend had been a fun and relaxing one! On friday evening my friend Holly and I headed up to the stake relief society retreat. We had so much fun although I felt like I was at girls camp again I know we didn't go to sleep until about 4 or after in the morning. We had wonderful classes that we got to participate in we learned alot. I am was greatful that Brody would take Elisa for the night so I could go have a good time when I got home all I wanted to do was sleep but that didn't happen. Brody and Elisa were both still in one piece when I got home the house might have been a differnt story and I probably won't have the energy to clean until tomorrow. Trouble

Elisa is starting to Crawl she hasn't got the whole thing down yet but lets just say she can get anywhere she needs to go and she can get there pretty quick while I am not looking. The other day she thought she would help me fold the laundry. Her favorite thing to do is get to her toy bin and pull everything out one by one and when there are no more toys to pull out she is mad!I got these sun glasses on sale for a dollor at the childrens place I think she looks pretty stylin.

Friendship Dinner

When Brody and I moved to Emmett We got called to be in charge of the friendship dinner. What is this you may ask? Well all the churches in Emmett take turns cooking for about 200 needy families. Yesterday was our first time to do it are ward in paired with the Presbitarian church (I don't know how to spell that). This was a very good experiance for me brody wasn't able to help because he is at work during the preperation and most of the serving. It was a good experiance to work with other religions and also to help people that really need it. I can't say I had the best attitude about cooking for 200 people in the begining but the ladys in are ward helped out. When people would come through the line they would tell us that it was the only meal that they would eat all week and there children would actually be full afterwards. It made me feel so blessed to have what I have life definatly isn't perfect but I have what I need and am well taken care of. I was a little bit sad to know that brody and i are moving to a different ward and I won't get the chance to do it again. Then again it a relief it was a very big undertaking and if it wasn't for a great friend taking Elisa all afternoon there is no way I would have been able to do it.

Happy Fathers day Brody

Brody is such a great dad to Elisa I could not ask for a better Husband and Father Elisa adores Him. I think if she could choose it would definatly be him. The other day he came home from work, we were sitting on the floor he walked in the door and she flipped to her tummy and started kicking so fast to get to him. I told brody i wish she got that excited when I came in the room. Brody is always willing to help change feed get up with her and most of all he is always willing to get down on the floor and play with her. Which includes wrapping her in a blanket like a burrito, teaching her how to crawl, playing with toys and much much more. (Today I caught him playing with her doll with her.)
I love brody he is always treats Elisa and I with love and respect he has such a big heart and would do anything for anybody. Brody loves to hug and I don't know what I would do with out my big morning hug before he is off to work. We are very thankful to have him!

Weekend Recap!

This week and weekend have been busy! This week was the Annual Cherry Festival in Emmett since this was are first brody and I tried to experiance every bit of it! Wed we walked over and watched clogging and ate dinner (which is not as good as the rupert food on the 4th of july). Thursday Elisa and I met holly and jeff at the carnival and watched there boys enjoy the rides.

On Friday night holly called and offered to watch Elisa I was so suprised that I didn't know what to do she is so nice and such a wonderful friend. So for the first time in a very very very long time Brody and I got to go on a date. We went to Red Robin because I have been dying to go since I got my gallbladder out and then we did some grocery shopping I know nothing to exciting but just to be together was enough for us. Thanks Jeff and Holly for taking Elisa she was probably so excited to get rid of us. Elisa loves Ethan and Kamden and watches there every move. When we went to pick her up Kamden would talk to her and she would just start Giggling!

Saturday was busy Brody went golfing and then we went to the petting zoo at the cherry festival. Elisa loved the animals and they loved her if we would put her at their level they would all walk over to her it was so funny. Later that evening we went and watched the Parade I have to say it was better than I thought it would be for a small town we had a great weekend

Weekend Recap!

we went to a parade in star called Mule Days just because I thought that it was funny!Elisa got to pet one of these little ponys and she thought it was funny

Other than the parade, Friday night we drove to Ontario, Oregon which is about 40 minutes from here we went to walmart and just drove around because we had never been there yet. Saturday we went to the parade and then we just chilled at home the rest of the day Elisa was sick so we were pretty layed back. Sunday Brody's cousin Crystal and her Husband Ben invited us over for a BBQ for bens birthday it was alot of fun to see them and to get to know other people! They have three kids who are just adorable!

House, Goose Eggs and Teeth

Elisa tipped over today while sitting and hit her Head the Goose egg was the outcome, I felt like an awful mom afterwards but she is still alive! I think she is also getting a tooth she woke up with a runny nose and a fever the poor thing just had a rough day I wish I new what would make her feel better!

The other day I made brownies and Elisa helped Brody lick the the she was so funny if he would stop giving it to her she would just start screaming! She had it everywhere I wasn't to thrilled when the chocolate wouldn't come out of her clothes! I don't know if I will ever have another child that likes to eat as much as she does! I think she would eat all day if I would let her!

Some fun weekend

This weekend has not been to busy. Friday brody and I found a house and put an offer in on it we hope all goes well with it because we love it and feel really good about it. It is a foreclosure so we realize that it may be a long process but in the end we will be getting a really great deal on a house! Pictures will come soon I am sure i have some but they aren't the greatest! Saturday we just spent the day together as a family we did yard work and such then last night I was extremly bored so brody and I went for a drive and found ourselves in Eagle we have never driven downtown eagle it is such a cute little town I feel in love with it. It has darling shops that I plan on going back and walking through soon. Today has been a nice relaxing sunday we are looking forward to seeing Papa Erwin tomorrow night. Also we are looking forward to supporting the relay for life again this coming weekend.
